Mobile food pantry

Picture
Mobile Food Pantry is a program designed to distribute large quantities of nutritious produce and other perishable food items on a first-come, first-served basis. Distribution occurs in the Shopko parking lot in Clay Center (821 West Crawford Street) beginning at 10:30 AM on the third Wednesday of each month. Volunteers place 10,000 pounds of food in cars each month as recipients drive through the distribution line. Deacon Carolyn Garwood is in charge of the food pantry and welcomes help any month!
